An overview

Together in Song in its hard-copy edition made a huge contribution to Australian congregational song, providing an outstanding resource for clergy and other worship planners. The collection  in all versions makes available a wide range of , psalms, Eucharistic settings and other songs from different eras, traditions, countries, and cultures and it includes some of the very latest music. Some of its greatest assets for planning worship are the extensive indexes that enable the user to find the most appropriate hymn quickly. No more need for parishioners to spend hours and hours looking through their own limited collections to put together your own parish collection. TiS editors have done this task for you; they have spent years collecting, singing and selecting the very best worship music for congregational singing. Now this excellent facility comes in computerised form, which simply means that its benefits are even more accessible. BUT THERE’S MORE: the word search facility enables you to locate any hymn in the collection, AND there is no more tedious re-typing of words: these are all accessible electronically! AND SO IS THE MUSIC!!! One of the editorial policies of the Australian Hymn Book and Together in Song has been to provide MUSIC AND WORDS for congregations. Now these can be quickly and easily copied for powerpoint presentations or for printed orders of service. The harmony version is also available for the choir and accompanists. AND THERE IS SOUND: many of the TiS pieces are available in sound form. You simply have to click on the icon.  AND THERE ARE ELECTRONIC SUPPLEMENTS OF NEW WORSHIP MUSIC. This means that each year our collections will be refreshed to include music and words to address contemporary theological topics, and contemporary worship needs.
This resource is too good to miss!
